We’ve designed Eris to be a true home for the arts - a place where you can dance to a DJ on one night, see tassels twirl at a burlesque show the next night, then come back on day three for an art exhibition and a glass of bubbly in our Champagne Lounge. Eris is run by founder and partner:  For Jon Corbett (while on stage, Affection), music is about creating emotions, and trance music is the ultimate tool for sharing any and every emotion. "Trance is a constant flow. Every song is a building block in one or more emotional directions, and by the end of an epic set, the audience is left both overwhelmed and craving more."
Over the last decade, Affection has traveled the world to find and study the masters of powerful dance music. Affection entered the industry as a producer in order to delve deeper into the inner workings of the song, and now combines all of his experience together by performing with one goal: to make a crowd feel. Beyond music, Affection is a civil rights advocate, tech entreprenuer, world explorer, and professional troublemaker, and when not on the road lives in New York and Miami Beach. ... ... ... We built Eris from scratch -- starting with an empty brick and concrete room and ending with a fully-licensed event venue.  Everything from the bathrooms to the stage to the bar was custom-built with love...  Attention was paid to putting in all the necessaries for musicians (including the perfect DJ and audio setup), performers (including a stage with a sprung floor), and customers.
